I am Mexican, the daughter of Spanish parents. From the age of eight, I knew I wanted to become a physician. I studied Medicine at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City, completed three years of General Surgery at Hospital Ángeles Lomas one of the best Private Hospitals at Me, and later specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the IMSS at Mexico City.

I have been married since 2014 to Dr. Fernando Pérez Galaz, a bariatric and gastrointestinal surgeon, and together we have two children, Mariano and Camilo, whom we hope will one day follow our path in medicine.

Becoming a mother transformed the way I see plastic surgery. I came to understand the importance of rebuilding self-confidence and learning to love your body with greater maturity, while also recognizing that there are times when change is desired — and that this is valid.

I also became aware of the profound changes women experience in their sexuality after having children. This led me to found the first center dedicated to women’s sexual wellness in Mexico, where we care for women through a multidisciplinary approach.
